The Miss Latina Canada Magazine

Mariana Valente won the title of Miss Universe Canada on May 18th at the John Bassett Theatre. Valente is a 23 year old York University student majoring in languages. She will be representing Canada at the Miss Universe pageant that will be taking place in the Bahamas this August.

Valente was previously under the management of ES Team Productions, after winning the Miss Latina Canada 2007 title in August of 2006 at the St. Lawrence Centre for Performing Arts in Toronto. Valente was the first woman of Brazilian heritage to win the title - and also the first Brazilian to win Miss Universe Canada.

Mariana has always demonstrated that she loved the fashion and modelling and industry,and she has that ability to captivate the attention in a room.
